  • Must reach school by 6.50am
  • All the members of each day need to set-up the equipment including the leaders by 7.15am
  • And pack everything after the event(s)
  • All members have 10mins (max.) to be back in the classroom

    SUPER HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING

    In order to assure the highest levels of quality work and productivity from members, it will be our policy to keep all members well trained through our program of SUPER HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (S.H.I.T)

    We are trying to give our members more S.H.I.T than anyone else. If you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T on the course, please see the Chairman. You will be immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T list, and our Vice Chairman are especially skilled at seeing you get all the S. H. I. T. you can handle.

    Members who don't take S. H. I. T. will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL EMERGENCY EVALUATION PROGRAM (D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T).

    Those who fail to take D.E.E.P. S.H.I.T seriously will have to go to EXTRA ATTITUDE TRAINING (E.A.T.S.H.I.T). Since our Vice Chairman took S.H.I.T before they were promoted, they don't have to do S.H.I.T anymore, and are all full of S.H.I.T already. If you are full of S.H.I.T, you may be interested in a job teaching others. We can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING LIST of LEADERS (B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T).

    For members who are intending to excel, we will refer you to the department of MANAGERIAL OPERATIONAL RESEARCH EDUCATION (M.O.R.E.S.H.I.T). This course emphasizes how to manage M.O.R.E. S.H.I.T

    New Inroom tables/chairs arrangement - Hall Control Room

    Please be notified that:
    There will be a new tables and chairs arrangement
    in the hall control room
    This is to allow meetings to be held before rehearsals of events
    There will be a small classroom table in the middle
    and a bench at the back near the window
    Please kindly do not shift the chairs and table in the control room

    4th of Feb, Hall Control Room Key lost

    To all AVA members,
    please take good care of the hall control room key drawn from the office

    Today, there's an incident regarding the loss of the control room key
    During the chinese new year rehearsal,
    there has been some chain of event that cause the control room key to be lost
    This key is passed around from 1 person to another and finally
    ended up in the rubbish bin outside the hall control room

    It was very toublesome to locate back the key and search everyone's pocket for the key
    We do not wish that this kind of incident would happen again
    As what Ms Neo has suggested,
    the person who took the key from the office
    will be 100% responsible for the key
    The person will be responsible to open the control room
    lock it and return the key signing off the book
    That person shak=ll be the leader of the duty day!

    New Members Needed

    Hi everyone in bmss,
    As a member of AVA. In 2008, we doing a recuritment for the club. In AVA there are a lot of things you can learn like how to set up a projector and other computer hardware. We mostly set up hardware and other electrical stuff.

    There are 2 section for each of the member to finish his or her duty.
    1. Backstage
    2. Control Room

    1. Backsatge
    This is the first step when you coming in to AVA club. You must learn all the things and stuff that the school owned and then you will proceed to Control Room. When you doing backstage, all the electrical stuff and the set up most of things are done by them. At the begining, you need to set up all the stuff and at the end you need to keep all the things where u bought them. If any default you must go and help to solve. Please everyone in the club must have the courage to go up and help the teacher to solve the problem when something occur.


    2. Control Room
    After sometime of training, you will be send to the control room and learn about how to control the mike volume and how to play the nation antheme and etc. In the room it is allowed to have less than 3 person and each time there must be a logistics to prepare to run down pass the other members some stuff. At each time there must be a person looking out downstairs to see whether they need to lower or higher the volume.

    This are the 2 basic things you will be assign when you join AVA. But we also conduct a lot other things like AVA workshop that we are going to conduct by hiring someone outside to teach the members more on AVA stuff and computering.

    Hope you will join AVA club ASAP.
